Apple iPhone!
I was soooo ready for it and then BAM! There it was. I saw an article this evening on Slashdot while I was reading the day’s take that said Apple said something about the iPhone at their keynote today. I took a look and sure enough, there it was. I’m just gonna come right out and say that it looks kick-ass. It runs a flavor of OS X and has a gazillion Apple-style bells and whistles. You can even see who your voicemails are from and listen to them in any order you want.
The only bummer is that it will be offered through Cingular exclusively. I guess it’s cool that it’s GSM, but I’m getting tired of these provider exclusive deals. I’m tired of contracts. The truth is, though, that this is the one device that I find worth changing providers over.
